Paolo's Fall 2006 Menu
Paolo loves this time of year. The winds changing, the leaves turning, the Autumn harvest making time with crisp Fall wines. He has been quite busy in the kitchen dreaming up some toasty new dishes to mix in with your old favorites this season.
Like Paolo through and through, the savory sweet Gorgonzola and Pear Salad is unsurpassable! And not to worry, Paolo has not forgotten to add a few new pizzas... The Gyro Pizza is brushed with garlic oil and topped with lean gyro meat, quattro formaggi, red onions, tomatoes, feta, and cucumber aioli. Then there is the Mango BBQ Duck Pizza, layered with mango, pulled duck confit, tomatoes, goat cheese, quattro formaggi, cilantro and scallions.
Perfect for Fall are Paolo's new entrees, which include Veal Chops Milanese ...topped with a white wine brown butter sauce and a salad of prosciutto di parma, artichoke hearts, and baby arugula. Or perhaps the Pork Tenderloin Picatta, pan roasted pork tenderloin tossed with garlic, capers, tomatoes and lemon in a white wine butter sauce over tender egg capellini. And, to make your mouth water a bit more, Pasta Purses "Tartufo"... shiitake mushrooms, asparagus, black truffles and chives in a rich truffle cream sauce.
Late night cocktails paired with a little sweet treat to end the evening are in order. Paolo can wait no longer, consider yourself tempted!
